Access

Guests have full access to the entire home and our 4.3-acre private lakefront property . Enjoy the spacious front and back porches, the firepit area, swings, outdoor games, and all the peaceful open space surrounding the house. You’ll check in easily with a smart lock on the front door—no keys needed and no waiting around. Arrive anytime after check-in and settle right in at your own pace. The lake, outdoor play area, and open fields are all yours to explore. Whether you want to play volleyball, stargaze with the telescope, or relax by the firepit, you’ll have the entire property to yourself for a peaceful, private stay.

Notes and House Rules

Getting Around & Parking

Guests can easily access the property by car — it’s a peaceful country drive surrounded by open skies and lake views. You will have plenty of space to park in the two-car carport right by the house.

Please note:

  • No parking in the backyard

  • Keep all vehicles on the gravel driveway and carport area only There’s additional space along the gravel road if needed for extra vehicles or a boat trailer

While most guests arrive by car, the home is conveniently located about 20 minutes from downtown Corsicana, making it easy to reach local restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions. The Richland Chambers Lake marina is just a short 10-minute drive away for easy boat launching and water adventures.

Cameras

We have a Ring Doorbell and driveway cameras that actively record audio and video. Inside, there is a decibel monitor that measures noise levels only (no audio/video recording). There are no cameras inside the home.

Terms

We want every guest to feel at home and enjoy a clean, relaxing stay. Please take a quick moment to review these simple house rules:

  • By booking you agree to complete identity verification through Truvi, which requires uploading a Government-Issued ID (Driver’s License, Passport, etc.).

  • If possible, no shoes inside the house — the floors are kept clean for everyone’s comfort.

  • No smoking indoors. If you smoke outside, please dispose of all cigarette butts and trash properly.

  • No illegal drugs anywhere on the property.

  • After using games or outdoor equipment, please return them to their boxes or designated areas so the next guests can enjoy them too!

  • Pet owners - please pick up after your pets and keep them off furniture when possible.

  • Before you leave, please remember, this is our home and we’re honored to share it with you. Please treat it with the same respect and care you’d expect from your own guests.

Being close to the lake means sharing the space with nature

Gnats & Insects: During some seasons, small gnats gather near lights by the doors. To minimize them, please keep outdoor lights off when not needed.

Wildlife: You may see spiders, wasps, fire ants, crickets, frogs, turtles, or even the occasional snake. The property is treated quarterly by local pest control, but nature is always present.

Lakeside Caution: Although we’ve never seen any, Texas lakes can have alligators — please stay alert near the water.
